How Can I Enter?

Enter the Geelong Half Marathon
To ensure your safety and enjoyment, the field has been limited to 1200 competitors.

Entry Fees

Half Marathon – Adult – $65
Half Marathon – Australian Health Care Cards or under 18 – $45

7km Event – Adult – $30
7km Event – Australian Health Care Cards or under 18 – $25

Entry fees include GST. There are no additional handling fees.
Reduced entry fees – Australian Health Care Cards and entrants who will be aged under 18 on race day.

Age Limit

While we actively encourage young runners, for safety reasons all runners must be aged 16 or more on race day
for The Geelong Half Marathon and 14 years or more for the 7 km event.

What Is The Last Day I Can Register?

Registrations will close at 5:00pm on Saturday 7th April 2018 or earlier if the maximum number of 1200 runners has been reached prior to this date.

No entries will be taken on the day of the event.

Will My Race Bib Be Sent To Me Before The Event?

For entries up to Monday 12th March, 2018: Your bib (with safety pins) and an event information brochure (including a course map) will be posted to you by standard mail from Melbourne no later than
Wednesday 14th March, 2018.
This will have all you need and you won’t have to check in before start time.

For entries from Tuesday 13th March up to Monday 26th March, 2018: Your bib and an event information brochure (including a course map) will be posted to you by standard mail from Melbourne no later than
Wednesday 28th March, 2018. This will have all you need and you won’t have to check in before start time.

For entries after Monday 26th March, 2018: We will not post your event pack. Late entry bib collection will be on Saturday 7th April from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Geelong Cross Country Clubrooms. These are under the James Harrison Bridge, on the south side of Barwon River, in Belmont, Geelong.

What if My Race Bib Does NOT Turn Up Before the Race?

If your bib does NOT arrive in time in the post, on Saturday 7th April (the day before the event) from 4 pm to 6 pm, call in at the Geelong Cross Country Clubrooms to collect your bib. These are under the James Harrison Bridge, on the south side of Barwon River, in Belmont, Geelong.

Can I Get A Refund If I Can’t Participate In The Race?

Yes, if you notify us by 26th March, we will refund your entry fee (less a $5 administration fee).
