A field of 75 warriors faced the starter in the Windows by Geoff Case King of the Mountains held at the You Yangs. It was a glorious morning and runners were rewarded with sunshine and amazing views. This is definitely a backmarkers race. The popular Charlie El-Hage took the honours from Ken Walker ahead of a big field of backmarkers and strong hill runners. This was Charlie’s second victory in this challenging race. A 5km run was also held, won by Phil Shay. Paul Austin, current club president was acknowledged for reaching the 200 run milestone.
